Multi-scale physico-chemical characterization of CEB/ANS bio-composites

In a vision to identify the non-linear behaviour of compressed earth blocks (CEB) reinforced by Argan nut shells particles (ANS) influenced many parameters like shape, distribution and quantity stabilizers, as well interactions between both phases: matrix reinforcement. The use numerical models seems be indispensable. Yet, simulations heterogeneous structures quickly become unaffordable direct calculations on finite element software. Therefore, homogenization experimental, analytical, macrostructure is performed. Thus, an overall micro-mesomacro approach modelling mechanical CEB/CNA bio-composites has been established. It mainly based notion representative elementary volume with two different (periodic structure poisson distribution). analytical results were validated Young’s modulus values resulting from experimental compression test corresponding stress-strain curves.
